Pleasanton North Rotary has been serving both local and international charitable needs since 1987. Our club has over 60 active members who continue to live by the Rotarian motto, by placing “Service Above Self.” In past years, "A Starry Night" was our annual charity dinner auction, held in the fall. This event raised over $2 Million. Other fundraisers have been added, including the Tri-Valley Turkey Burn.
Our club is particularly interested in projects that combine Club Member's sweat-equity with cash, or a specific program that needs funding. If you have a project or organization that is in need of financial or physical support, we ask that you apply right away. Fulfilling your request will be based on a number of criteria including the following:
-
How does the project or organization stand for the same ideals and goals as Rotary International?
-
How can your organization help assist our club with promoting and supporting our annual fundraisers?
-
How will the project or organization help promote the ideals of Rotary?
100% of the net proceeds from our fundraisers are given to the Pleasanton North Rotary Foundation, which is a 501(c)(3) entity. Applications for funding are reviewed three times per year and are evaluated on a first-come, first-served basis. Grant applications are due on 1/1, 5/1, and 11/1. The Foundation meets on the 3rd Monday of every month at 5:30 PM.
